Research Summary

We are advancing studies on technologies (hardware technologies and software technologies of modeling simulations and process optimization) for plasticity processing of materials such as high-tension steel sheet and magnesium that have high functions, but are of low-formability by deeply understanding the characteristics.
Our subjects include, for example, prediction and restriction of spring back of high-tension steel sheets, warm forming of magnesium sheets, simple determination method of elastic/plastic characteristics of various metal materials, and the optimization process design of plate pressing and casting.

For Application

Based on our study results, we can participate in joint/contracted studies, technical guidance, etc. to specifically respond to each individual problem which enterprises are facing at.
